The College of now 1200 kids, primary and upper level school is known as the SANZAC College; Sabah, Australia, New Zealand Army Corps College. They fly our flags and call the three original class rooms, Anzac Heritage Rooms. I found them out back in 1999 and have been taking my tour group from Perth to visit every April during our Anzac Tour to Labuan Island, Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan. We do a dedication service there and this year hope to fulfil the start of a scholarship programme with two West Aussie schools and one in Sandakan. Longterm goal is a student exchange. So as you can see the pennies were well worth it back in '69.
